My Passion, My Work and My Life Are One
The thing is, I'm not really sure that I know the person that I
was 9 years ago. So many things in my life have changed since December
of 1994 when my organic gardener asked me to try one of New Earth's
products. To do him a favor (so I thought), I tried the Mind™.
Little did I know that it would turn out to be a life altering experience.
It was as if, as my body absorbed the nutrients from this incredible
superfood, my awareness opened up to the possibilities of actually
making changes in my life. Although knowing that the health of the
body is so connected to the state of our minds, I just never realized
how powerful it could be.
Having been in the process of discovery for a while, when New Earth
came into my life, it became the vehicle to grow in ways that
I had only dreamed of, on so many levels.
While sharing the passion that I had for the New Earth products,
I gained confidence in speaking with people - a challenge that I
had experienced for most of my life. With support and guidance from
my Upline, it was as if I woke up and realized that others really
were interested in what I had to say. (This, in direct contrast
with any other work experience that I had until that point.) I was
able to speak from my heart, not only about the products, but also
about New Earth, the company and all the people. Being able to transfer
this enthusiasm to those that I approached about giving the products
a try, and then growing a business, was really how it all began
for me. This was Network Marketing, and I didn't even know that
- it just evolved.
The most important aspect of this is that I was having fun.
The model that my Upline and others in New Earth showed me was
one of being able to live consciously, not only in my personal life,
but also in my business life. This was a concept that I had
always believed in, but until this opportunity was presented to
me, I had little faith that I could actually incorporate it into
my life. Here were people doing just this, - and - making a lot
of money at the same time. It was just so cool. It was definitely
a lifestyle that I could wrap my heart and mind around.
I had, for so long, the dream of working out of my home, and being
independent. It was quite the leap of faith to quit my job as advertising
art director, to open up a home office and build my New Earth network.
I feel that all the work that I had been doing to gain confidence,
- taking more chances, opening up to the possibilities in life,
instead of just going along with doing something, just because of
what others thought, and trusting that I had the ability to do anything
that I choose to, gave me the courage to make real changes in my
life. It was as if New Earth appeared, just when I was ready.
Funny how that happens.
One of the many highlights, so far, was being asked to make a speech
at the company's annual event. Going from the fear of speaking, even
in small groups, to being able to get up in front of an audience
to speak, was major. Once again, I was pushed to my edge, ever-so-lovingly
by a group of people who respected and trusted me, and really wanted
to hear what I have to say.
How different everything is from 9 years ago, back in 1994. My
passion and my work and my life are one -and I am having so much
fun! Life is good!
