Linda Grover - A Mother´s Day Letter from a Grateful Grandmother
When I happened in on an August Celebration fourteen years ago, and subsequently accepted an invitation to write a book about the magnificent Wild micro algae, (my book was also entitled August Celebration) I had no idea that literary decision would affect my family in a very personal way unto the third generation.
Soon after I began my work for New Earth, my daughter Cindy in Kauai became pregnant. By that time we were all enthusiastic advocates of the products. Cindy kept her strength up with the algae products throughout the pregnancy -- through the battering her island took during Hurricane Iniki, and the subsequent evacuation to Maui -- where Kanoa was born, just short of 13 years ago.
I'm proud to say that Kanoa, his brother Ian, 9, and their five step-sisters and brother are all algae products children, and all magnificently healthy and athletic. In fact Kanoa has just been selected for the prestigious Olympic Development Program. (U.S Youth Soccer). Kanoa will represent his state at the regional conference in Portland, Oregon.
I'm writing to you today to say that I believe that the algae products have had an influence in fostering my grandson's skill and grace at most any sport. He's also remarkably sunny, well-rounded in his interests, and modest about his abilities. The algae products have surely played a part in his development, and we all look forward to great successes for him in the years to come.
A happy Mothers Day to all New Earth's moms and grandmothers (as well as their progeny.)
